Celebrate Thoughtfully
It’s not catering, it’s an experience.
From giant charcuterie spreads, to DIY tamal stations—choosing to work with me to curate food experiences for your guests takes a mindful approach: from investigating your tastebuds and food preferences, to creating a visual design that fits the mood of your event, to clear communication and expectations from start to finish.
Booking an experience begins by filling out the contact form below. It’s helpful to have an idea of your vision, guest count, location, budget, and date. Once I receive a submission, I send out a quick questionnaire that dissects your tastebuds so I can get to know what flavors are important to you. From there I will send you a proposal with a couple of menu options. Every proposal is a starting ground for us to work creatively together to create a food experience unique to you and your guests.
Whether this is an event for 2 people or 30, it’s important to me that you feel like we’re serving you and your guests a meal full of nourishment, filled with wonder, and obviously, sabor.
As a micro enterprise, I only accept one event a month to ensure my clients get the very best attention to detail and planning. I am currently booking events of up to 30 guests for the 2024 spring and summer season. Because every event is custom designed, it’s never too early to reach out and start planning!
Let’s connect!
Make it memorable.
Make it meaningful.
As a Latina-owned micro-enterprise, I understand that mutuality is the pathway by which we all grow. 10% of yearly sales are donated to mutual aid and non-profit organizations that seek the dignity and safety of migrant communities and LGBTQ+ youth in Chicago. Additionally every effort is made to implement sustainable practices, from providing to-go containers to minimize food waste, to composting food scraps and using compostable disposable wares, to the donation of food-safe and labeled leftovers to Love Fridges across Chicagoland.

“I enjoy making others feel special and I don't think I truly understood that hiring Mary-Beth wasn't a gift I was getting myself. It was a gift I was giving others. They got to experience the magic that is her craft. She took answers from a Google survey and managed to create a story that was so engaging, delicious, beautiful, and fun.”
